Iceni Marksmen Field Target Club was founded in 1984 Colchester, Essex with the aim of creating a welcoming and inclusive community for air rifle enthusiasts.  It is one of the oldest clubs in the country.

Our club is part of the South East Field Target Association which consists of 4 clubs within our region.  One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the shooting season, is our winter league, which pits clubs against clubs.

Our beautiful woodland field target course offers a picturesque setting for our members to practice their skills and compete in club competitions. With a focus on safety, sportsmanship, and camaraderie, we strive to provide an unforgettable experience for all our members. Join us and be a part of the Iceni Marksmen family.

We set a new brand new course every Sunday morning, which means that our club offers good varied challenges, throughout the year!

We are open every Sunday morning, come rain or shine.  Members are asked to either help set the courses, which can be an early start (7-8am), or assist with the clearing up of the targets at the end of the day.

For new members, we advise that you get in touch with us prior to visiting, so that we can ensure you receive an introduction, safety induction and tour of the grounds.
